Reels & videos from Instagram
Similar to its competitor TikTok, Reels on Instagram allow users to create a series of short video clips that can be played in order or individually. Reels can be created within the Instagram app, using existing video uploads from your phone or by capturing footage right in the app (see our article for tips on this). While Reels are not available to all users, they are a powerful tool for businesses and creators looking to reach new audiences. Reels can be shared to your feed, Story or directly in a direct message. They can also be featured in Explore where they’ll be seen by more people. Read more https://snapinsta.llc

Creating a Reel is as easy as selecting a template and choosing the clips you want to use. Instagram has a library of templates that they think you’ll like (these are usually trending) or you can choose to use your own custom playlist. Once you’ve finished a Reel, you can add music and text overlays. You can also add a location, reminder, fundraiser or tag your followers or collaborators.
It’s important to know how the Instagram algorithm determines which Reels are shown to users. The main factor is the content itself but the timing of when it’s posted also plays a role. Reels that are popular, receive a lot of interaction and are tagged correctly will be shown to a wider audience. In addition, if the Reel has a specific theme or topic, that will be taken into consideration as well.
